Stephen Colbert's Wife Evie Talks to Oprah About Stephen's Romantic Side

Oprah Winfrey visited Stephen Colbert at his home and did a really interesting interview with him and his wife, who has never given an interview before. Stephen has been married for 19 years to Evelyn "Evie" McGee-Colbert.

Evie is pretty funny herself. She says she doesn't much like Stephen's alter ego from The Colbert Report and won't allow him in the house. Evie says when she met Stephen he wasn't making any money and that was scary. But she knew he was really talented and smart and she took a chance. She also says Stephen is a real romantic, and reveals one of his romantic gestures. Take a look:
