Golden Globes Winners: Slumdog, 30 Rock, Heath Ledger

It was another big night for Slumdog Millionaire. They took home four Golden Globes including Best Motion Picture and Best Picture. Slumdog was also a big winner> at the Critics Choice Awards and they look like a favorite heading into the Oscars. Heather Ledger won a well deserved Golden Globe for his peformance as the joker. Kate Winslet took home two awards for her performances in Revolutionary Road and The Reader. Mickey Rourke, Sally Hawkins and Colin Farrell also won film acting awards.
Tina Fey won a Golden Globe for 30 Rock and she used it as an to opportunity to tell off her Internet critics. Alec Baldwin also won for 30 Rock and the show itself won an award for Best TV Series - Musical or Comedy. Another tv series that did well was John Adams, which won four awards including awards for stars Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti and Tom Wilkinson. Mad Men took home the Globe for Best Drama TV Series.
