Trailer for AMC's Halt and Catch Fire Starring Lee Pace

Here is the trailer for the new AMC fall series Halt and Catch Fire which is set in 1983 Texas in the Silicon Prairie. Three young computer geniuses try to make it in the booming computer industry.

We love Mike Judge's hilarious HBO series Silicon Valley which follows the adventures of young programmers trying to launch a startup called Pied Piper with a groundbreaking compression algorithm. This new AMC series looks at the same industry back at its inception. In 1983 three young rebels are determined to make it in the tech world. They begin by reverse engineering an IBM computer. It's a serious look at the time period with a lot of drama and clunky electronics. The premiere is June 1st at 10:00 p.m.l Eastern on AMC. We'll tune in for the pilot solely because of star Lee Pace (The Hobbit), who is the tech evangelist who puts the team together. Take a look:
