HBO Releases First Teaser of The Leftovers

HBO has released the first teaser of The Leftovers. Damon Lindelof (Lost) is one of the co-creators of the series. Tom Perrotta, the author of the novel, The Leftovers, is the other co-creator. Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta wrote the pilot, which is directed by Peter Berg. People start to disappear in an event that could be the Biblical rapture or it could be something else. The series stars Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Carrie Coon and Christopher Eccleston. The teaser is pretty chilling. The series will premiere on June 15, 2014. Take a look:
