Hack a Day Builds High Voltage Thor's Hammer

Caleb Kraft at Hack a Day built a model of Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir, that can deliver 80,000 volts of electricity. Kraft wanted a Mjolnir replica that was better than the plastic models available in stores, so he worked with Staci Elaan to get a solid state Tesla coil inside the hammer.

Kraft then built the hammer replica around the Tesla coil.
