Patrick Wilson and Ian McShane Fight the Cartel in First Trailer for Hollow Point
Posted on October 3, 2016
"It takes a willing hand to punish horrible men," Ian McShane's world weary border sheriff tells tells Patrick Wilson's young, idealistic lawman in the trailer for Hollow Point. McShane plays the sheriff of a small town on the Texas border with Mexico. The area is rife with violence because of the arms smuggling to the cartels in Mexico.
When McShane has to kill someone in the line of duty, a younger sheriff is brought in, played by Patrick Wilson. The more Wilson's character learns about his new job, the more alarmed he gets. The cartels reach is long and the drug and weapons trade is thriving in the desolate stretches of bald prairie between the U.S. and Mexico.
The film was directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego and also stars John Leguizamo, Jim Belushi, Lynn Collins, Michael Flynn and Nathan Stevens. The film is due to hit theaters on December 16, 2016. Take a look:
