Jim Carrey and Steve Carell in Who-ville

Jim Carrey and Steve Carell, who were hilarious as dueling news casters in Bruce Almighty, are lending their voice talents to an animated feature film based on Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who. The film is being made by 20th Century Fox Animation, the makers of the Ice Age films.

Jim Carrey will voice the role of Horton, the elephant who knows that a person's a person, no matter how small. Carell will voice the Mayor of Who-ville, a distinguished figure of a very small size, too small to be seen by the elephant's eyes.

Horton Hears a Who will be released on March 14, 2008.
