Julia Roberts and Jimmy Fallon Throw Giant Balls at Each Other

Julia Roberts was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and agreed to play a game of Face Balls. Jimmy always gets celebrities to do the most ridiculous things.

Jimmy honored the Oscar winner in his own way: this is the first time Face Balls has been played on the show. On the other hand, the game involved having giant inflatable balls thrown at her face. Yep, right at her face.

Jimmy let her go first. She got her game face on and really clocked Jimmy in the face with the giant, clear vinyl ball. The playback in slow motion shows his nose getting squished and his face crumpling.

Then Jimmy got his turn and he nearly chickened out. he apologized in advance for clocking America's Sweetheart in the face. But he did it anyway. In the next round Julie arranged her face to have no expression at all. This time the balls were much bigger, and Julia noted she was much better at bigger balls. Then she joked that this was like the comedy version of Fifty Shades of Grey, which is pretty funny.

This time the ball really flattened her famous nose and mouth. The slow motion playback is really funny. Julia was just nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress, Miniseries or Movie for The Normal Heart. She wore an Elie Saab blouse and black shorts for her Tonight Show appearance. Take a look:
