Brad Peyton to Pen Screenplay for Lobo Movie

Deadline.com reports that Brad Peyton (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) will write the screenplay for a movie based on the DC Comics Lobo antihero.

Lobo is an alien interstellar bounty hunter. He wields a chain with a gutting hook and rides a hover bike. For another look at Lobo, check out his page here on Villains Wiki. The Wiki says Lobo is as strong as Superman. Casting would require someone huge to play Lobo as he is very muscular.

Update: Dwayne Johnson was briefly linked to the Lobo movie, but it appears the entire project has been halted. He would have been perfect for the role.
