Magic 8 Ball Movie in the Works

A movie is being made based on Mattel's Magic 8 Ball. Deadline.com reports that Paramount has optioned the rights to make the film from Mattel.

Jon Gunn and John Mann, who wrote Alcatraz Vs. The Evil Librarians will write the script. Screenrant reports that the film was originally set-up as a romantic comedy but will now be a a live-action adventure movie. It makes more sense as a romantic comedy.
