Monk and Psych Season Premieres are Tonight

Tonight USA Network has two great season premieres: Monk and Psych. Adrian Monk (People's Choice winner Tony Shalhoub) meets a half brother he never know (Tim Zahn), Jack Monk, Jr. Jack is in prison for fraud, but escapes only to land on Adrian's door begging for help from a murder charge. He swears he's innocent, and Adrien reluctantly agrees to help him. Tony Shalhoub and Traylor Howard as Natalie are just as entertaining as ever in this great opening to season seven.

On the season opener of Psych, Gus (Dule Hill) convinces Shawn (James Roday) to attend the funeral of local hero Shabby the Sea Lion. Shabby was released into the wild by an egomaniacal Animal Planet star played by Ted McGinley. But Shabby died soon after he was released, and Shawn believes it was murder. Psych is one of the funniest shows on TV right now, and the premiere is scream. Creator Steve Franks wrote the episode.

Monk airs on USA at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m. Central and Pscyh airs right afterwards at 10:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m. Central time.
