NBC Picks Up New J.J. Abrams Spy Dramedy

Variety reports that NBC has picked up a new J.J. Abrams series called Undercovers. The tv series is described as spy dramedy. Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw will star as married ex-spies who are re-activated. The pilot will air this fall. The IMDB entry for Undercovers can be found here.

Jeff Gaspin, chairman of NBC Universal Television Entertainment, says, "We have tremendous confidence in this promising series and feel this is a great way to kick off our upcoming Upfront development announcement. J.J. has delivered another signature series along with our partners at Warner Bros and we couldn't be happier."
