Katherine McPhee and Megan Hilty in Smash

Smash is a new series from NBC about the opening of a hit Broadway musical from executive producers Steven Spielberg and Craig Zadan & Neil Meron (producers of Chicago and Hairspray). Katharine McPhee plays Karen and Megan Hilty is Ivy Bell in the series. In the film a tenacious producer (Anjelica Houston) is trying to make a Marilyn Monroe musical. The show is set to premiere in the 2011/2012 mid-season. Take a look:
