Nicolas Cage Talks About His New Film Joe

Nicolas Cage talks about his new film, Joe, in this interview with George Stephanopoulos. Cage plays an ex-con in the film who becomes an unlikely role model for a 15-year-old boy. The film is based on the novel by Larry Brown. It is directed by David Gordon Green.
Cage says he immediately connected to the character from the books and the script. Cage says his wife saw the film and said of the character, "that's you." Cage also talked about the first time he had to handle venomous snakes. He did the stunt himself and says, "I could of died." He says he saw a picture in a book about how to hold a venomous snake.
