Pretty Little Liars Gets 12 Episode Extension

ABC Family is already picking up 12 more episodes of Pretty Little Liars. Mediaweek reports that the audience for Liars has been building with new episodes.
The audience numbers would be low for a major network channel, but they are very good for ABC Family. It averaged 1.33 million viewers during its latest episode, which was a 20% boost over the pilot. Beating the pilot is not easy to do. This made it easy for ABC Family to pull the trigger and order more episodes.
Pretty Little Liars stars Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell and Holly Marie Combs. It is based on the book series by author Sara Shepard.
