Seth MacFarlane's Dad Rocks a Kilt on the Oscars Red Carpet‏

Seth MacFarlane's family showed up in full force to support his gig as the host of the 2013 Academy Awards. Seth's sister, Rachael MacFarlane, her husband Spencer Laudiero, Seth's dad Ron MacFarlane and Ron's wife Xiao Xiang walked the Oscars red carpet together. Rachael voices several of the characters on Seth's hit show, Family Guy and voices Hayley Smith on American Dad.

Going to the Oscars in my best (only) kilt. Will be wearing my sleek, black garden sloggers...fashionable, yet oh so comfortable!!

Rachael wore a brown column gown which featured a lovely beaten gold metal necklace as the collar of the halter top. She accessorized with a gold and garnet cuff. Seth's dad Ron rocked a full Scottish kilt for the event. He joked to The L.A. Times that he "always wanted to wear a dress." Rachael gave her dad the kilt for his birthday. Ron accessorized with black Crocs (hey, comfort is important).

The family looked happy and ready to support Seth on his big night.

Pier's Morgan interviewed Ron MacFarlane on the red carpet. They missed the full shot of the kilt but a good photograph can be seen on TheFW.
