Video: Hank Azaria Takes Fans' Questions for CNN
Posted on September 19, 2011
Hank Azaria, who has voiced more than 150 characters on The Simpsons and who plays Gargamel in the Smurfs movie, took fans' questions for CNN. Hank says he was a little puzzled by the whole concept of answering questions from an iPad (noting that "in my day we had to talk to paintings and they thought we were crazy"), but he gamely went along with it.
When asked, Hank says if he used proper vocal technique he couldn't make the voices he makes. In fact, he's been told by experts that he's doing it all wrong. Hank answers questions about the Simpsons characters he thinks should get more air time, whether he's ever thought about being a media personality like a radio deejay and what his favorite character he's ever voiced.
