Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson Star in We Bought a Zoo

Here is the trailer for We Bought a Zoo starring Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson and Thomas Haden Church. The family-friendly movie will be released on December 23rd. Inexplicably directed by Cameron Crowe, the film is loosely based on the book, We Bought a Zoo: The Amazing True Story of a Young Family, a Broken Down Zoo, and the 200 Wild Animals that Changed Their Lives Forever by Benjamin Mee.

The movie stars Damon as a single dad who quits his job and moves to the country. The property he buys is actually a zoo full of animals that need constant care. Take a look:

Scarlett Johansson plays Kelly Foster, the head keeper of the zoo. In this clip she inquires as to why Ben bought the struggling zoo. Take a look:

The actual zoo that is the subject of the film is Dartmoor Zoo. It was also the subject of a BBC documentary, called Ben's Zoo.
