Zero Dark Thirty Wins Weekend Box Office

Zero Dark Thirty climbed to the top of the box office during its fourth weekend in theaters. The controversial film about the search for Osama Bin Laden made $24 million. This put it ahead of two opening films: A Haunted House and Gangster Squad.
Gangster Squad, starring Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Josh Brolin, opened lower than expected and made $16.7 million. Gangster Squad was followed by Django Unchained, Les Miserables, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Lincoln. You can see the complete box office report here.
