The CW Cancels Hellcats

The cheerleading dramedy Hellcats has been canceled by The CW after just one season. The show even tried zombies to boost ratings (which was a great idea), but unfortunately it wasn't enough. The Hollywood Reporter says the show averaged less than 2 million viewers this season, according to data from Nielsen.

The series ran for just one season. We actually think the series might have worked better if Ashley Tisdale was the lead. She was the best known member of the cast and she was entertaining in the High School Musical series. They also should have had zombies involved in the plot from the get go.
